Basketball and reality TV star Lamar Odom is suing his ex-girlfriend for visitation rights of his two kids.
According to an article in the New York Post, Odom, who plays for the LA Lakers and is married to Khloe Kardashian, wants a judge to set a “parental access schedule,” and also set a “reasonable” amount of child support for his two children, L.J., 9, and Destiny, 12.
Odom filed the petition with the Manhattan Supreme Court on Nov. 5.
The two children live with mom, Liza Morales, in Manhattan, who is saying she has no clue as to why the sudden change of heart from Odom, who she claims stopped trying to really connect with the kids four years ago.
“This whole going to the court thing – people, my neighbors – I don’t want them to think this is the kind of mother I am, that he has to go to court for visitation,” Morales said about the whole ordeal, claiming that Odom knows the truth, that she’s had to beg him to spend more time with his kids.
In the past, the idea of having the children appear on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” has also been brought up as a way to show Khloe Kardashian’s step-mothering skills. However, Morales has said she will not allow the kids to be on the show, as she is raising them with “old-school values.”
Aside from the two children Odom already has, much talk has also come up over him and Kardashian also wanting a child. According to sources, the two may be in a spinoff of the Kardashian series that will follow the couple’s lives as the two try and get pregnant.
